Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation must authorize all returns or exchanges.
A RMA (Return Material Authorization) must be issued and included in the box with return shipment. Please call 1-800-394-4232 and speak with your sales person.
All claims for damaged items must be placed within ten (10) days of receipt of item.
Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation must receive returned merchandise in sellable condition, unless the item is found to be defective.
All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 DAYS of invoice date.
All returns and exchanges are subject to at least a 30% restocking charge. If the return is later than 30 days, a 50% restocking charge may be added to the return price.
Customer Returns:
The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer. If the item is being returned because of an error on our part OR the item is defective, Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation will refund all shipping.

RMA MUST ACCOMPANY ALL SHIPMENTS BEING RETURNED. If there is no RMA issued, a credit/exchange will not be given.
Refund for Credit or Exchange:
Any refund or credit for exchange will be based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and Handling fees are not subject to refund unless the merchandise is defective or item shipped was incorrect.
Credit/Refunds are generally processed after the item has been received and inspected by Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation.
All refunds are applied to the individual customer account, and consistent with the original method of payment.
    Payment Details
We accept Company Purchase Order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, Pay pal, Cashier's Checks, and Money Orders, and checks with 7 days Clearance. Pay pal payments must be in one full transaction. If a Pay pal payment is made in which we cannot accept for any reason it will be returned. Please feel free to contact us for additional payment options.
Sales Tax: Colorado Shipments will be charged sales tax of 7.3%.

    Warranty
Products are covered under the following warranty:
Unless otherwise stated, all components of Rocky Mountain Electrical & Automation, Inc or equipment for which we publish prices are warranted to be free from defect for a period of 12 months. This period begins from the time the invoice for that unit is generated. Any units found to be failing in either workmanship or material will be repaired or replaced or funds refunded less shipping charges at our discretion. This warranty is limited as set forth above, so that repair or replacement or funds refunded is the exclusive remedy.
All consequential damage to property, loss of profit, or injury to a person is specifically excluded. Without limitation the above warranty shall not apply to items that have failed due to: misapplication, operation exceeding the rated capacities, abuse, negligence, improper storage, improper handling or installation, contaminates, acts of God or Nature. (Credit for returns or replacement is at the discretion of Rocky Mountain Electrical.).
You are responsible for shipping and proof of delivery on all returns; therefore, please retain all tracking information until we ship the new item. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Once the package has been delivered please allow 10 business days for your return to be processed. In order to receive quickest RMA number please call us at 1.800.394.4232. Penalties could result if these conditions are not met.
Items Purchased New:
Most, but not all new purchases are not under warranty according to the original manufacturer’s warranty. It is the buyers’ responsibility to follow up with the manufacturer to determine if a warranty will cover products that we sell. In the event that you buy a new product from us and then it does not work, you will have 30 days to return the product for a full refund of the purchase price. After 30 days we will review the situation, on a case-by-case basis, to determine if a refund or an exchange is warranted.

How do I change/modify an order after it’s been placed?
If you need to change or modify your order after it has been placed you need to Contact us or call us at 1-800-394-4232. All other issues can be handled in the Customer Center. Please Note: orders are generally processed within 1 business day of approval of funds and confirmation of availability. Orders placed with money order option will not be shipped until money order is received.
